Another 'bizarre' series for L.A. Kings

CHICAGO - Hotel rooms were hard to come by in the Windy City this weekend, so the Los Angeles Kings were forced to stay out by O’Hare International Airport for the first two games of the Western Conference final.

While a medical conference has most rooms tied up downtown, the Kings are sharing their hotel with a Star Trek convention, making for some interesting characters circulating in their lobby.

“I haven’t really been in the lobby all that much, I heard about it, though,” said Kings captain Dustin Brown prior to Game 1 Saturday. “The first day we got here we saw a bunch of … Trekkies, I guess?
