Call me Mr. Cowher
By QMI Agency

Los Angeles Kings enforcer Kevin Westgarth might not want to tangle with his future father-in-law.

Westgarth will marry former Ivy League basketball all-star Meagan Cowher on Aug. 12. His fiancee is the daughter of former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher, who perfected the death stare during his time on an NFL sideline.

Despite standing 6-foot-5 and fighting for a living, Westgarth admitted he was intimidated the first time he met Cowher.

"I didn't think it would be (intimidating), until maybe five minutes before I was going to meet him the first time," Westgarth told dailybreeze.com. "We were at a game in Pittsburgh, and the Steelers beat the Browns 41-0, so I think that made everything a little easier. He has been a great guy to talk to over the years."

Westgarth met his future bride during his time at Princeton, where he played hockey. Meagan Cowher, a 6-foot-1 forward, was playing basketball at the university.

"She's actually the real athlete of the family," Westgarth told Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times. "She's the best player. I'm looking forward to having kids and retiring on what they end up doing."

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
