The Los Angeles Kings announced Tuesday that they have re-signed center Brad Richardson to a two-year contract.

Richardson, 26, played in 68 games for the Kings last season, recording seven goals and 19 points. He also played in six postseason games for Los Angeles, netting a pair of goals and five points.

In 316 career games over six seasons with the Kings and Colorado Avalanche, Richardson has 37 goals and 91 points.

Richardson, a Belleville, Ontario native, was originally selected by the Avalanche in the fifth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
