LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Kings placed forward Marco Sturm on injured reserve Thursday with a lower-body injury.
The move is retroactive to Jan. 18.
Sturm, 32, was acquired by the Kings on Dec. 11 from Boston for future considerations.
In 15 games with Los Angeles, Sturm has registered four goals and eight points to go with a plus-five rating.
In a related move, the club recalled forward Andrei Loktionov from Ontario of the ECHL.
