LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Kings activated forward Marco Sturm from the non-roster injured list on Tuesday.

Sturm, 32, has yet to play a game this season as he began the campaign on injured reserve after having surgery to repair MCL and ACL injuries to his right knee suffered in Game 1 of last year's Eastern Conference Semifinals against Philadelphia.

He is expected to make his season and Los Angeles debut when the Kings take on the Colorado Avalanche at Pepsi Center in Denver.

The native of Germany was acquired by the Kings on December 11 from Boston for future considerations, and over 302 games with the Bruins he totaled 106 goals and 87 assists. In 855 games over 12 seasons with San Jose and Boston, he has amassed 234 goals and 232 assists.
