Don’t ever accuse Craig Anderson of not being able to stand the heat.

The Senators top goalie scored his second straight victory over the Florida Panthers this week. Chris Phillips, Erik Karlsson and Jason Spezza chipped in with goals Thursday at the BB&T Center as the Senators remained unbeaten.

The Senators have won three straight to open the season for the first time since 2007-08 after they scored a 3-1 victory over Florida on the strength of 24 saves by Anderson, who moved his lifetime record to 9-0-1 vs. the Panthers.
