The Leafs were well-rested for a home date with the last-place team in the Eastern Conference. Easy pickings, right?
Not so fast.
It may have been the Carolina Hurricanes at the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday night, but given their recent form, the Leafs can’t take any opponent for granted.
