HURT DOWN MIDDLE

The Maple Leafs lost Mikhail Grabovski to a an upper body injury in the first period last night, then fellow centre Wayne Primeau to an undisclosed ailment in the third. Leafs coach Ron Wilson declined to update the status of either player after the game.

MITCHELL ITCHIN'

Centre John Mitchell said last night his injured knee is in good enough shape to return for Tuesday's game at the ACC against Florida. Mitchell has missed the past 20 games.

BEST NORTHWEST

The Leafs now own an 0-6-0 record against teams from the Northwest Division this season and has been outscored 23-8 in those contests.

RETRO NIGHT

It was retro night at the Pengrowth Saddledome. The Flames wore their old red and yellow jerseys and special guests included the original Hanson Brothers from the 1977 movie Slap Shot.
