CALGARY FLAMES (19-8-4) AT
COLORADO AVALANCHE (18-10-6)
6 P.M., SPORTSNET/FAN 960
COMING IN
A 44-save performance by Miikka Kiprusoff earned the Flames a point in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild. Calgary has played four 2-1 games in its last five outings -- losing three of them -- while the other was a 3-1 victory over Atlanta sealed with an empty netter.
Colorado scored a 2-1 shootout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday night in the return of goaltender Craig Anderson, who missed four games due to a neck injury suffered in a goal-crease collision, and stopped 22 shots. Wojtek Wolski scored the winner as well as the Avs' lone regulation-time goal.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Avalanche has twice come to Calgary this season and left with 3-2 wins. Colorado has won the last four meetings going back to last season, which comes on the heels of a Flames four-game winning streak in the divisional series. The Flames are on a 4-9-1 run in the Mile High City.
