FUN AND GAMES

Chicago forward Patrick Kane said one of the best parts of the U.S. Olympic team summer evaluation camp near Chicago was the rapport he built with Leafs/U.S. coach Ron Wilson.

"We had some fun together," Kane said. "He and (Leafs/USA GM) Brian Burke, they kind of feed off each other when they're together. It's pretty comical."

Indeed, Wilson couldn't resist when he saw Kane walk past during his media scrum yesterday, shouting at Kane about needing spare change, a reference to the latter's summer incident with a Buffalo cabbie.

"Aw, you have to have some fun," Wilson said.

HEAD GAMES NO FUN

Recent concussion victim Jonathan Toews had strong words about head shots yesterday.

"If you're going to sit there and say you didn't want to hurt them -- you're lying through your teeth," he said.
