CATCH-UP HOCKEY

Yes, it sounds like a broken record, but the Leafs have now given up the first goal in 15 of 17 games this season and have fallen behind by two goals in eight of those contests.

STAJAN STEPS UP

After centre John Mitchell looked flat in the first period, coach Ron Wilson replaced him on the first line with Matt Stajan. Mitchell re-appeared with Nikolai Kulemin and Lee Stempniak.

BIG BROTHER

Luke Schenn was the goat on the first Chicago goal, but earned some respect for going after Troy Brouwer after the Blackhawk levelled the much smaller Mikhail Grabovski.
