OLDS TIME HOCKEY

Leafs forward and Olds, Alta., native Jay Rosehill had something of a Gordie Howe hat trick.

Rosehill recorded his first NHL goal, then nearly a second, plus a fight, a high-sticking minor and a boarding call that led to the Penguins' fourth goal of the game.

CHANGING D

The Luke Schenn-Francois Beauchemin defensive tandem was broken up as coach Ron Wilson attempted to find some compatibility elsewhere.

But by evening's end, even Mike Komisarek and Tomas Kaberle were separated.

LONG WAIT

Forward Rickard Wallin had his first two points as a Leaf, his first in the NHL since before the lockout when he was a member of the Minnesota Wild.
