Forsberg contemplating comeback
By QMI Agency

This might be starting to sound like Brett Favre's is-he-or-isn't-he retirement saga but rumblings have started that Peter Forsberg could again be contemplating an NHLcomeback.

According to a report in the Denver Post, Forsberg is mulling over whether he wants to return to the NHL for the first time since a nine-game stint with the Colorado Avalanche in 2007-08. Forsberg has played just 26 games over the last two seasons with Modo of the Swedish league due to recurring foot problems.

This news comes after the 37-year-old centre had a goal and assist in a charity game that featured NHL players. The Post says Forsberg, an unrestricted free agent, could return to the Avs but New York, Washington or Philadelphia are more likely destinations.
