Aaron Ekblad is feeling a lot better these days and so are the Florida Panthers.

In a mishap bound to get hockey moved up in the sports section of the Sunshine State papers, Ekblad was concussed during the Canadian junior team's summer orientation camp in Montreal a few weeks ago. But he looked quite comfortable on the ice on Saturday, getting his hockey card picture taken, zipping around the Mattamy Athletic Centre and shooting pucks.

"The concussion is perfectly almost completely gone," the big Barrie Colts defenceman said at the Upper Deck-NHLPA Rookie Showcase. "It has been about four, five days since it has subsided. I've felt great skating and working out all this week. I'm doing things on the ice and the little things off it to get back up to the weight I was before, and get game-ready."
