The Florida Panthers signed defenseman Dmitry Kulikov to a three-year, $13 million contract extension on Friday, according to TSN.
Kulikov, 23, set career highs last season with 81 games played and eight goals.
The Russian averaged nearly 22 minutes per game while finishing second among the team's defencemen in hits and fourth in blocked shots.
Kulikov, the No. 14 overall pick in the 2009 draft, is the third young defenceman to re-sign with the team in the past eight days, joining Erik Gudbranson Dylan Olsen.
