EDMONTON - Has it got to the point with the Edmonton Oilers where you just file the latest incident reports and move on?

• Sweater thrown on ice? Goalie fires jersey back into stands?

Put it in that pile over there with the other sweaters?

• Crowd boos team off the ice?

Fat file over there?

• Coach rips player on bench? Player throws water bottle? Bottle explodes? Coach gets soaked? Player gets benched?

Put it in the file with ‘General manager and fan get into shouting match in front of Oilers dressing room?’

• Crowd chants ‘Fifty-Fifty’ so they’ll call the 50-50 number and everybody can go home?

Better make a new file for that one.

After a league-mandated day off Sunday, the Oilers returned to the scene of the latest crimes for an 11 a.m. practice.
