EDMONTON - It’s long enough now that you can actually call it a win streak.

Three games.

The Edmonton Oilers extended their modest, but season-long run to three games in a row Thursday with a 4-1 win over the visiting Florida Panthers.

On the heels of a 4-2 comeback win over Calgary and 7-0 rout of Columbus, the Oilers jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held on for their seventh win of the season.

The Oilers capitalized on an early power play and made it 1-0 on Jordan Eberle’s seventh of the season. It was Edmonton’s 12th unanswered goal dating back to the third period against Calgary.

They made it 13 and 14 straight when Sam Gagner broke his 10-game scoreless drought thanks to a brilliant pass from Nail Yakupov, and David Perron scored his sixth goal in seven games to make it 3-0 Edmonton.

Yakupov’s assist was his sixth point in six games.
