MONTREAL - Ebs is questionable and Flow is out for Tuesday in Montreal.

The Oilers won’t say what’s ailing Jordan Eberle and Ryan Smyth, but Eberle missed practice Monday for the second day in a row, while Smyth and his trademark hair are already back in Edmonton.

Dallas Eskins, who was already down Taylor Hall, Sam Gagner and Jesse Joensuu up front, can only cross his fingers that Eberle can make it to the starting gate for the final game of their six-game road trip.

“You could argue that Jordan has been our best forward, he’s a big part of our team,” said the coach. “We’ll cross our fingers that he’s good for Tuesday but we have to be careful with that, too, we don’t to rush him and make it turn into something bigger.”

Eberle, who was at the practice rink both days, had been complaining of stiffness somewhere. They’re hoping it’ll ease up with rest and treatment, but won’t know till Tuesday.
