No rest for the weary, and no win for the Oilers.

The Montreal Canadiens, playing their second game in as many nights, and with their back-up goalie between the pipes, rolled into Edmonton and beat the high-energy Oilers in their own building and at their own game.

It was the type of contest the Oilers like to play, and would expect to win - an up-tempo track meet against a small team that played the night before - but they still came up short in a 4-1 loss.

Playing their last game at home before heading out on a six-game eastern road trip, didnít want to begin the odyssey 1-3. But thatís what theyíre doing as they pack for Toronto, Washington, Pittsburgh, Long Island, Ottawa and Montreal.
