EDMONTON - Beating a team 8-2 is like playing a really good practical joke on your roommate: Hilarious and oh so satisfying at the time, but followed by the uneasy knowledge he’s going to spend the rest of his waking hours trying to get even.

And when he does, he’s going to make it good.

Enter the Calgary Flames, who plan on using more than rubber snakes and itching powder to settle the score for that rather humiliating doozy the Oilers pulled on them a little over a week ago.

“They’re going to come very, very angry into our building and it’ll be a tough game,” said Oilers head coach Ralph Krueger, whose club can win the season series with Calgary for the first time since 2001.

“We’re not expecting an easy night, but for us to win the series would truly be something of value after many years of not doing it. We’re going to have to work for it, they’re going to react to how we played in Calgary.”
