The Edmonton Oilers were expecting a different Vancouver Canucks team than the one they dominated Saturday.

They expected the Canucks to push back a little more than they did in the loss at Rexall Place. They got it as the Canucks did plenty of pushing around in a 4-0 win over the Oilers at Rogers Arena.

Kevin Bieksa, Henrik Sedin, Chris Higgins and Zack Kassian scored for the Canucks in the win, while Corey Schneider picked up his fourth shutout of the season and eighth of his career.

Unfortunately for the Oilers, they didn’t have much push back of their own, playing their third game in four nights.

The Oilers could have used some of the goals they used to scorch the Flames the night before, unable to generate much offensively. They only managed five shots in the first period and only 12 through 40 minutes.

Their best chance through the first two periods came early as Lennart Petrell fired a shot that caught the goalpost behind Schneider. The Canucks g
