If the Edmonton Oilers do make the playoffs, don't bet against a deep run.

Because in order to get there, they'll have to knock off the best of the best in the Western Conference.

Saturday's visit from the Vancouver Canucks is just the first in a steady diet of high-calibre teams down the stretch. The Oilers play Anaheim three times, Minnesota twice, Vancouver twice and have singles with Los Angeles and Chicago in their final 14 games.
