Edmonton Oilers generate no offence in 6-0 loss to the Nashville Predators

NASHVILLE - Any fight the Edmonton Oilers may have had Friday night was lost on a bad hop.

With it could have gone the club’s playoff aspirations, falling 6-0 to the Nashville Predators and further behind the chase pack.

The thud heard in Edmonton was the club hitting rock bottom.

David Legwand’s bouncer from centre found it’s way past Devan Dubnyk in the second period, deflating the Oilers and setting the stage for an old fashioned beat down.
