Hit on Clutterbuck could help Oilers' Hall

The NHL's Wheel of Justice goes clack-clack-clack and where it stops, nobody knows.

But whatever Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall gets for his hip or knee-on-thigh hit on the Minnesota Wild's Cal Clutterbuck, in the minds of a few people around the league, it will have been a worthwhile investment.

Clutterbuck is one of the NHL's unguided missles and gave Hall a bit of a sketchy hit into the boards last season.

Hall got a chance to nail Clutterbuck in the waning minutes of Thursday night's game and who knows what the intent was, but he left Clutterbuck writhing at centre ice, clutching his left leg (apparently he didn't suffer a knee injury, but a thigh contusion).

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
