Atmosphere around Edmonton Oilers players more about winning, rather than trying not to lose
By ROBERT TYCHKOWSKI, QMI Agency

DENVER - It’s usually pretty early when people in Edmonton look at the Oilers and say “It’s going to be a long season.”

And it’s happening already.

Only this time, they mean it in a good way — like, for the first time in seven years, the season might not be over when the regular schedule ends.

Playoffs? Playoffs!

If only former Colts coach Jim Mora could see what’s going on here.

Are you surprised Don Cherry backed Daniel Alfredsson's comments?
  Yes.
  No.
It's Don Cherry - who knows what he will say.
  Not sure.
