Don Cherry is on Nail Yakupov's case yet again.

A month after calling out the Russian youngster for saying Canada plays "dirty" prior to the start of the World Junior Hockey Championship, Cherry ripped the Edmonton Oilers draft pick on Saturday's Coach's Corner segment for his energetic goal celebration after tying Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings with 4.7 seconds left.

"If anytime you want to make our highlights just act like an idiot," Cherry said.

Cherry also took exception to the fact that Yakupov put on a show while Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick was laying on the ice.

"Here's the MVP of the National Hockey League, here's the best goaltender in the world, he's embarrassed him, laying there like that," said Cherry. "I'm telling you they — L.A. — is going to remember this."
