The Edmonton Oilers are giving welcome back gifts to their fans.

Amongst the prizes, the hockey team will be giving away 93 signed jerseys of any player — past or present — to fans who attend the first two home games. If the fan chooses a current player, the Oiler will deliver the jersey.

Oilers president and CEO Patrick LaForge said the organization feels bad for dragging fans through the labour negotiations.

“Now’s the time to look forward and drive this thing by looking through the front windshield and have some fun as the team claws its way into the playoffs we hope,” he said.

Fans can also win one of 64 pictures with players, one of four sets of gold season seats for this season, one of 83 pairs of tickets for individual games, one of two pairs of tickets on the team charter for a road game and one of 14 locker room tours. Fans will also get a 55% discounts on food and 40% discounts on merchandise.
