Oilers, Hemsky agree to terms on two-year deal

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers and forward Ales Hemsky agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $10 million Friday.

The 13th overall selection in the 2001 draft, Hemsky has spent his entire nine-year career with the Oilers, recording 119 goals, 421 points and a minus-26 rating through 537 career games.

In 47 games this year, Hemsky has five goals, 21 assists and a career-low minus-14 rating for Edmonton.
