Oilers recall Paajarvi, O'Marra
By QMI Agency

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers recalled Magnus Paajarvi and Ryan O'Marra from the American Hockey League on Monday.

Paajarvi, 20, was assigned to Oklahoma City Dec. 16 and tallied a goal and eight assists in nine games. In 25 games with the Oilers this season he had three assists.

He played 80 games with the Oilers last season and collected 34 points.

O'Marra, 24, played 34 games this season with the Oklahoma City Barons. He scored seven goals and added nine helpers, for 16 points.

He had one assist in three games with the Oilers.

Meanwhile, the talented but inconsistent and oft-injured Gilbert Brule has been called up as well, but will have to clear waivers.

He cleared waivers in October to head down to Oklahoma.

The Oilers host the Devils Wednesday.
