EDMONTON - Oilers sensation Taylor Hall apologized to the Twitterverse Wednesday after someone hacked into his Twitter account and blasted the hockey team’s fans.

Following Tuesday nights' 3-2 Oiler win against the Vancouver Canucks, Hall’s Twitter account -- sporting 84,944 followers -- was hacked and an offensive message was posted.

”f--- the oilers I’m going to the flames #oilersfansaretheworst #f---mys---tyfans,” the hacker posted.

Before lunch on Wednesday, Hall deleted the message and reposted to his fans.

“Someone hacked my account. I would never say something like that,” posted Hall. “Always grateful for Oiler fans #changedpassword.”

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
