Oilers' Whitney to miss rest of season

Edmonton - Edmonton Oilers defenseman Ryan Whitney will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing ankle surgery on Monday.
The procedure was performed in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Whitney, who was injured on December 28th, registered two goals and 25 assists in 35 games.
