No movement on Souray front
By ROBERT TYCHKOWSKI, QMI Agency

Still no movement on the Sheldon Souray front, but it’s not for lack of trying.

“We’re still trying to see if there’s some situation that would make sense from a trade standpoint,” said GM Steve Tambellini. “We still just want to see if there was time to not just make a trade, but do something that helps the Oilers.”

Putting him on waivers again and sending him to Oklahoma City just to keep him in game shape (he’s currently skating by himself in L.A.) might be an option, too.

“It’s an option but I’m not sure what I’m going to do with that yet. I know he’s healthy and hopefully we get something done soon.”
