Oilers Game Day

The Oilers are on a two-game losing skid to open their five-game road trip, having lost 4-2 in Minnesota and 3-0 in Colorado. The Coyotes are coming off a 4-0 loss in Dallas on Saturday. Before that, Phoenix was on a six-game winning streak.

NOTES

This is the third of four meetings between the two teams this season. The Oilers won the first one 4-0 in November, then lost 5-4 in a shootout in January ... Sam Gagner, who left Saturday's game after the second period with a sore knee, will be evaluated after the morning skate ... If Gagner can't play, either Robert Nilsson or Gilbert Brule will draw in ... Defencemen Steve Staios and Ladislav Smid will both play tonight after being sidelined with concusssions ... The Oilers have won three of their previous four games in Phoenix.

EDMONTON: RW Ales Hemsky (shoulder), G Nikolai Khabibulin (back), C Ryan Stone (knee).

PHOENIX: RW Scottie Upshall (knee), D Kurt Sauer (upper body).
