Edmonton Oilers winger J.F. Jacques has been the most physical player on the team, give or take Zack Stortini, but he took a seat last night to make room for Pisani.

"I love the way he tries and everything," said Oilers head coach Pat Quinn. "He's at a good stage and he'll continue to develop. It's one of those times where you push a young guy down and maybe he'll learn something. It certainly isn't because I'm disappointed in him.

"I want to get Pisani in and who do I take out? He won't be left aside."

n Lubomir Visnovsky, who missed the last two games with a twisted ankle, isn't looking good for tomorrow against Columbus.

"It's not one of those high ankles, but it's sore," said Quinn. "I know he wasn't able to put a skate on to practise so I'm sure it's going to be a few days yet."

LATE HITS ... Steve Staios left the game in the third period after taking a shot on the inside of the knee.
