Goalie Devan Dubnyk will get his first ever NHL start tonight against the St. Louis Blues.
The 23-year old gets the nod in relief of Jeff Deslauriers, who had started 14 games in a row after Nikolai Khabibulin went down with a back injury.
"I'll try and prepare the same way I would any other game," said Dubnyk, who's only other NHL action was a 52-minute relief effort in Vancouver on Nov. 28. He let in three goals on 24 shots.
"There's definitely some nerves there," said Dubnyk. "I'll just do what I need to do to get ready."
The Oilers sit in last place in the Western Conference, with 34 points. Dallas holds eighth spot, with 41 points.
St. Louis has 35 points.
