Coming In

The Oilers head into tonight's game after a 5-2 loss at home to Chicago Saturday. Since opening the season at 6-2, the Oilers have lost 11 of their last 14 games. The Coyotes, meanwhile, are coming off a 3-1 win at home over the Flyers. Tonight's game is the first of a two-game road trip for the Coyotes, who will be in Calgary on Wednesday.

Injuries

Oilers: C Mike Comrie (mono), D Denis Grebeshkov (knee), C Robert Nilsson (concussion), RW Fernando Pisani (colitis), C Ryan Stone (knee), C Marc Pouliot (sports hernia).

Coyotes: D Zbynek Michalek (lower body), D Kurt Sauer (upper body), D Ed Jovanovski (lower body).

Game Notes

This is the first of four games between the two teams this season. The Oilers will host the Coyotes again in January and visit the desert in February and again in April ... Last season, the Oilers won three of the four games between the teams ... Ales Hemsky led the way for the Oilers against the Coyotes last season, scoring four goals and adding four assists ... Despite all their off-ice issues, the Coyotes are currently seventh in the Western Conference.
