EDMONTON OILERS (7-6-0-1)

NEW YORK ISLANDERS (4-4-3-2)

COMING IN

The 7-6-1 Oilers are coming off a 2-0 loss to the Boston Bruins in which they only managed 19 shots. Just 1-4 on the road this season, they're facing a 4-4-5 Islanders team on a three-game winning streak.

INJURIES

EDMONTON: C Marc Pouliot (pubitis), D Sheldon Souray (concussion), D Steve Staios (concussion), LW Ryan Stone (knee).

BOSTON: LW Jeremy Reich (broken wrist) G Rick DiPietro (knee surgery).

NOTES: Doug Weight returned to the Isles lineup this week after recovering from H1N1 ... Former Oiler Rob Schremp is minus 3 with one assist in six games since being claimed on waivers by the Islanders. He has 12 shots in that span ... Defenceman Steve Staios practised again yesterday, but Quinn has no plans to get him in the lineup tonight... New York broke Washington's six-game winning streak on Friday night and then beat the 8-2 Sabres on Saturday... With Shawn Horcoff back at the hotel with the flu, Mike Comrie centered the first line in practice yesterday. They're not sure if either will be healthy enough to play today.
