Was in Roloson's grill for the entire contest the last time the two teams met, and is expected to be there again all night tonight.

COMING IN

EDMONTON (33-27-9) beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in a shootout at home on Tuesday.

COLORADO (31-38-2) lost 3-2 in a shootout to the Minnesota Wild, on the road on Tuesday.

GAME NOTES

This is the sixth and final meeting between the two teams this season. The Avalanche won the last encounter 3-2 in overtime five days ago. The last time the Oilers were in Colorado, on Jan. 16, G Mathieu Garon turned aside 37 shots as the Oilers defeated the Avalanche 3-2. The next day Garon was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins and Dwayne Roloson has started every game since ... The Avalanche have won three of the previous five meetings between the teams this season, which includes an overtime win and a shootout win ... With the Oilers playing tomorrow in Chicago, it's expected Roloson will get a night off in favour of Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers, however head coach Craig MacTavish said he hasn't made that decision yet.
