Oilers winger Fernando Pisani, out of the Oilers lineup since Nov. 17 with a broken ankle, will return to the lineup tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

"It's been a long time coming," said Pisani, on a line with Ethan Moreau and Andrew Cogliano at today's morning skate. "I'm excited to get back out there."

Pisani was injured when he crashed feet first into the end boards at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, breaking his left ankle on the play.

He has two goals and four assists in 16 games this season.

It's been a tough couple of seasons for Pisani, who missed the first portion of last year suffering from the effects of ulcerative colitis.

The game's set for a 7 p.m. start at Rexall Place.

The Oilers currently sit in 9th spot in the West Division, with 65 points, while the Blue Jackets sit in sixth with 66 points.
