Hemsky expected in lineup against Coyotes
By ROBERT TYCHKOWSKI, SUN MEDIA

Ales Hemsky appears ready to jump the gun in his return from a concussion that's kept him out of the Oilers lineup since Dec. 28.

The Czech winger said four days ago that he was still felt woozy after strenuous exercise and didn't expect to be back before the All-Star break.

But after a few days of hard skating a a full morning skate today, he expects to be in the lineup tonight against the Phoenix Coyotes.

"I feel pretty good, I had a couple of practices the last couple of days and I feel comfortable to play," he said. "I'm pretty excited. I'll go out there and try to play smart, don't take too many hits and see how I react."

Hemsky had been going at a point-per-game pace before he went down (35 points in 34 games). In his absence, the Oilers are 5-5.

Do you think Coyotes players should be punished for their actions after the team’s Game 5 loss to the Kings?
