PITTSBURGH -- Um, what room were we in?

It's tough enough keeping track of your hotel room number when you're on a seven-stop, 14-day road trip - try it when both you and your roommate have concussions.

Ladislav Smid and Denis Grebeshkov can be forgiven if they're found walking the halls with puzzled looks on their faces after coming down with concussions two games apart.

Grebeshkov was nailed by Tuomo Ruutu in Carolina and Smid took an elbow from Raffi Torres Wednesday in Columbus.

"I don't feel 100%, but I feel all right, I guess," said Grebeshkov, who was placed on IR to make room for Theo Peckham. "I'm experiencing headaches sometimes, but nothing bad."

He just can't take anymore hits to the head right now.

"That's the biggest problem, I guess. I have to stay away from the game because of those hits."

Head coach Craig MacTavish didn't like the one that put Smid out.

"Raffi drilled him with an elbow to the head. He came back and played a couple more shifts, but he wasn't right."
