Oh, about those tickets ...

What happens if you've paid for season tickets for a season that never happened?

Edmonton Oilers fans who've paid in advance have the option of either leaving their deposit in an Oilers account for next season or taking it back with interest (prime plus 1%). The offer doesn't apply to those who paid $100 deposits.

President Patrick LaForge said about 7,000 of the 14,000 season tickets are eligible for the refund.

"Most people said just leave it, roll it over to next year," said LaForge. "And we're going to keep on paying prime plus one - it's a pretty good investment. It's better than you're going to get at any bank.

"Each account will get a letter from us and a conversation with one of our salespeople."
