PHILADELPHIA - The NHL's own Central Scouting Service has Sam Bennett pegged as the No.-1 player in the NHL Draft.

He's followed on the list by Aaron Ekblad then Sam Reinhart and Leon Draisaitl.

TSN, broadcaster of the draft's opening round on Friday, has placed Ekblad at top spot, followed by Reinhart, Bennett and then Draisaitl.

International Scouting Services had Reinhart first, followed by Ekblad, Michael Dal Colle and Bennett.

Those “in the know” can't come to a consensus how things will play out when the top four players are selected in Philadelphia, with the Florida Panthers holding the No.-1 choice.

The players themselves are just as in the dark, and it's their futures being bandied about.

“It's pretty unpredictable,” said Reinhart. “So I try not to think about it too much and enjoy the whole thing.”
