If Jonathan Drouin can't be on the same NHL club as Halifax junior teammate Nathan MacKinnon, how about in the same division?

Both say a career in Florida, one with the Panthers, the other in Tampa Bay, is not a bad alternative for a couple of Mooseheads, either on the ice or as a lifestyle. Drouin has the best chance to draw the Sunshine State, while MacKinnon might have snow-capped peaks instead of sand in his future.

"All three of us will be given an opportunity to play in the first year," slick centre MacKinnon said on Thursday. "Any team in the NHL would need (a high pick) for a good fan base. But we'll have to work for it."
