New Jersey, Philly to host next two NHL Drafts

NEW YORK - The New Jersey Devils will host the 2013 NHL Draft at Prudential Center and Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center has been chosen to hold the event the following year.

Both franchises will be first-time hosts and next year’s draft, scheduled for June 28-29, will mark the first time the event is held in the New York City metropolitan area.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are hosting this year’s draft, which will commence on Friday and finish on Saturday.
