VANCOUVER -- There could be a lot of action at this weekend's NHL entry draft.

In addition to rumours that of impending moves among the clubs selecting in the top five, Columbus GM Doug MacLean believes there could be players on the move as well.

"Based on the calls I'm getting I would suspect there's going to be some trades this weekend," said MacLean this morning.

The biggest name on the market is Florida goalie Roberto Luongo, but he insisted in an interview with a Fort Lauderdale newspaper he doesn't want to be moved and simply wants a long-term contract. MacLean said he knew nothing about the Luongo situation.

But, MacLean said all teams are trying to find out where they stand with the salary cap.

"Most teams are just trying to figure out how they are going to keep their own players," said Maclean.
