Richards won't be back with Stars
By QMI Agency

Brad Richards will be playing anywhere but Dallas next season, according to a report on TSN.ca.

Since the Dallas Stars' ownership situation will not be resolved before July 1, the potential unrestricted free agent will not get a contract offer from the team. That would open the door for Richards to leave Dallas.

The Stars could trade the rights to Richards before free agency opens but the 31-year-old forward would need to waive his no-trade clause.

Richards had 28 goals and 49 assists in 72 games this season, his fourth with the Stars.
