COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Mike Commodore from injured reserve.
Commodore, who turns 31 on Sunday, has missed 10 games with an upper-body injury. He was hurt against San Jose on October 9 in Stockholm. The Alberta native had two goals and nine assists in 57 games last season.
The Blue Jackets also assigned defenseman Nick Holden to Springfield of the American Hockey League. He was held pointless in five games with the parent club.
