Jackets re-sign Clitsome
By Sports Network

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed defenceman Grant Clitsome to a one-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Clitsome appeared in 11 games for the Blue Jackets last season, collecting his first career NHL goal and two assists. He compiled five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 64 games with Syracuse of the American Hockey League.

The Blue Jackets selected the 25-year-old Gloucester, Ont., native with the 271st overall pick of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
