CHICAGO - The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t lose a game in regulation time in that first half of this strange mutation of a lockout-shortened season.

Now, they’ve started the second half of the season with consecutive losses in regulation.

A letdown -- either emotional or mental -- after such a long period of excellence was probably to be expected.
